Adult Slow Pitch Softball Leagues

Adult Softball Team PhotoThe City of Friendswood Parks and Recreation Department offers Adult Slow Pitch Softball Leagues each year. The leagues are scheduled to start in February and teams from the surrounding area are welcome to come enjoy the fun and excitement involved with slow pitch softball. The leagues will run for 7 weeks followed by a single-elimination playoff.

Prizes (t-shirts and trophies) will go to the top two teams in each division. Games will follow A.S.A. rules. We will run leagues back to back from February through November. We will have 3 to 4 leagues per year.

Friendswood Adult Softball League play consists of Co-ed, Men’s "D", Men’s "DD" and "Men’s Church". All league play takes place at the Friendswood Sportspark located at 2910 W Parkwood. 

Costs

Each team will pay $250 per registered team and a one time $80 forfeit fee deposit. Teams will also be required to pay umpires $20 cash at the plate per game.

Leagues

League: Adult Men’s Church League

  • Day / Time: Mondays, League play begins at 6:30 pm.
  • Games: 7 weeks- doubleheader games

League: Adult Men’s DD/D and Coed Recreational League

  • Day / Time: Sundays, League play is 2:30 to 5:30 pm for Coed and 5:30 to 9:30 pm for Men’s
  • Games: 7 weeks- doubleheader games

League: Adult Men’s DD/D

  • Day / Time: Wednesdays and Thursdays, League play is 6:30 to 9:30 pm.
  • Games: 7 weeks- doubleheader games
