Accepting computers, routers, laptops, power cords, USB drives, cell phones, monitors, hubs, printers, cables, cable boxes, servers, ink jet/toner cartridges, keyboards, switches, TV’s (No TV’s over 36”), fax machines, and telephones.
Shredding will be offered from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m., or until truck is full. There will be a 200 lb limit of paper per vehicle. Items not able to be shredded are 3 ring binders, cardboard, floppy disks, hanging file folders, newspaper, microfiche, and video tapes.
Tree limbs, grass clippings, old appliances, old furniture, unwanted wood, metal, and plastic.
KFB will be accepting garage sale donations such as furniture, household items, bikes, etc. in good condition, (clothing not accepted). Garage sale items can be dropped off from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. at Centennial Park. All proceeds from the garage sale will benefit the beautification of City facilities and parks.
No Hazardous Waste
Examples of items that will not be accepted are: tires, paint, batteries, oil, or any other household hazardous waste. If you have any questions please call the Parks and Recreation Department at 281-996-3220.
Also needed for Friendswood wildlife rehabbers: aquariums, dog and cat carriers, clean rags, and shallow crock bowls.
