Friendswood Library Reopening in Phases

Doors of the Friendswood Library will reopen to patrons on Monday, June 1 at 10 a.m. with some special rules in place. Library hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. During this Phase 1, patrons will have a one-hour limit in the Library and you are asked to practice social distancing while browsing and at check-out. For everyone’s wellbeing, you are encouraged to wear a mask. Additional guidelines are posted in the Library. PLEASE DO NOT visit the Library if you are not feeling healthy.

Library computers will be available by appointment only through the Reference Department. Some scanning and printing options are being offered.

The Library’s Drive through window continues to be open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Anyone 18 years old or younger is encouraged to join the Friendswood Library’s Virtual Summer Reading Club, beginning June 1. Find more information and register at www.friendswood.lib.tx.us/youth-services/
