Friendswood Police Activity Report
August 14-21, 2023
Burglary
Aug. 18 (12:55 a.m.) A resident in the 500 block of S. Shadowbend left his residence at 5:30 p.m. and returned at 10:30 p.m. to find his patio gate was open and unlocked. He entered his home and discovered that guns, fishing reels, and cash were stolen.
Theft
Aug. 15 (9:37 a.m.) A vehicle theft was reported in the 500 block of Stadium Lane. A silver 2008 Ford F250 with Texas License plate PNW6913, was stolen sometime between 8:30 p.m. and 9:42 a.m. Later the same day, the truck was recovered by the Houston Police Department.
Aug. 16 (3:08 p.m.) A stolen vehicle report was taken from Avis Budget Car Rental, 141 N. Friendswood Drive. A blue 2023 Nissan Rogue with Texas license plate SDR3935 was rented on April 7, 2023. The vehicle was supposed to be returned on May 7, 2023. Since that time, several demands for the vehicle have been made.
Aug. 18 (10:10 a.m.) A theft of a package was reported in the 3600 block of Queensburg Lane. The package was delivered by FedEx on August 8th; however, receipt of the package by the homeowner did not occur.
Aug. 18 (1:12 p.m.) A resident in the 900 block of Pine Breeze Drive had two credit cards stolen from her residence. She suspects a home health worker of the theft. Charges more than $7,000 were made with Amazon deliveries scheduled for an apartment complex in Texas City.
Fraud
Aug. 16 (5:02 p.m.) A Friendswood man received an ULTA credit card in the mail even though he did not apply for one. He contacted the bank that issued the card and discovered that the card was used at the time it was opened. Then someone attempted to make more purchases, but the purchases were declined since the purchaser did not have the physical card. The account was cancelled.
Criminal Mischief
Aug. 16 (6:19 a.m.) The back window of a vehicle was broken out in the 200 block of Chelsea Lane. Nothing was stolen out of the vehicle.
Traffic
Aug. 20 (12:45 p.m.) A hit and run accident occurred in the 500 block of S. Heather Lane involving a parked vehicle. The parked vehicle had damage to the front driver’s side wheel well causing the driver’s side door to not open.
Other Incidents
Aug. 15 (11:40 p.m.) A resident in the 2900 block of Bridle Path Lane called police when he found an Apple air tag inside his vehicle. He was alerted to the air tag’s location after receiving a notification on his cell phone regarding an air tag being nearby. The victim believes the air tag may have been left in his vehicle while parked at his place of business. The victim does wish to pursue charges of Unlawful Installation of a Tracking Device if the identity of the suspect is found.

August 15
Amanda Olson Bentley, 33, of Alvin, was charged with Fail to Display Driver’s License and Fail to Signal Intent to Turn.
Heather Marie Betcke, 41, of Friendswood, was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1.
Esther Marie Ferguson, 34, of Houston, was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1.
August 16
Angelina Ramee Rodriguez, 21, of San Leon, was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1.
Scott Do, 55, of Houston, was charged Theft.
August 17
Eric Edward Mathiasen, 44, of Houston, was charged with Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance in penalty Group 1.
August 18
Amy Jo Johnson, 52, of Friendswood, was charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
Derek Shean Medders, 33, of Friendswood, was charged with Public Intoxication.
August 19
Kevon Patrick Loctor, 30, of Houston, was charged with Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon.
August 20
Carlee Vye Medina, 19, of Danbury, was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Dylan Adam Munoz, 20, of Friendswood, was charged with Evading Arrest or Detention with a Motor Vehicle.
