On Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at approximately 12:28 PM, the Friendswood Police Department responded to a disturbance in the 16700 block of Hibiscus Lane. Officers arrived approximately three minutes later and found an unconscious male victim laying in the driveway of the residence with what appeared to be a stab wound to the chest. Friendswood EMS arrived on scene and transported the victim to HCA Clear Lake Hospital. Officers immediately detained the suspect on scene without incident and he has been transported to the Friendswood Police Department. The scene is no longer active and there is no threat to the public
