Two Suspects Arrested in Cabinet Making Scheme

Aldo Gutierrez and Karla Carranza Zayago were arrested on October 12, 2022, at 12:31 pm for larceny warrants out of Galveston County following a fraud investigation by the Friendswood Police Department. Gutierrez and Zayago are accused of offering cabinet services, receiving payment, and never providing services. The two suspects utilized Facebook Marketplace ads to advertise their cabinet services and attract victims. Multiple victims have contacted the Friendswood Police Department after being scammed out of thousands of dollars. Friendswood Police believe there may be more victims in the area.
