Tree Giveaway this Saturday

Keep Friendswood Beautiful' s annual Tree Giveaway is scheduled for this Saturday, January 15, 2022, at, Centennial Park, 2200 S Friendswood Dr. beginning at 8am. This will be a drive thru process, enter park from FM 518, stay in your car and we'll load your tree in your vehicle. Keep Friendswood Beautiful will be giving away 100, seven- gallon trees, including Live Oak and Red Oak. The event starts at 8 a.m. and ends when all the trees are gone. We suggest those who are interested in attending get here early because they do go fast, (30 minutes)! The Giveaway is limited to one tree per family (first come-first served) and is for Friendswood residents only. A City water bill or driver’s license is required. Delivery is not provided. Friendswood Library Gala

Friendswood Library Gala Tickets are Now on Sale!!

The circus is coming to the Friendswood Public Library. Curtains open at 7 o'clock in the evening on Saturday, March 5th. Your experience will be one of awe and wonder as you are immersed in the show. You'll encounter unbelievable acts and witness a performance by gypsy jazz collaboration Swing Rendezvous at 8 o'clock! The special honorees for the night are JoBeth and Kim Brizendine. Purchase your tickets here.

  • Must be 21 or older to attend.
  • Circus attire encouraged, but not required.
  • Admission price includes heavy hors d'oeuvres, drinks, dessert, and entertainment.
  • Silent and live auction.
  • No refunds.
The Night Circus helps the Friends of the Friendswood Public Library raise funds to purchase the first-ever Library Mobile Vehicle. From delivery of books to neighborhood Children's story times, from after school transport to interactive events, the Mobile will bring the Friendswood Public Library to the community.
The event is hosted by the Friends of the Friendswood Public Library, a 501(c)3 charitable organization. The Friends support the Library’s mission and vision to engage, educate, entertain, and empower the community.
