City Wide Clean-Up this Saturday, November 13

This year's citywide clean up, Fall Haul is this Saturday, November 13th from 8am-2pm at Centennial Park. Take advantage of this year's city wide cleanup, drop off trash, appliances or unwanted items for the garage sale. Items that can be dropped off:

Shredding from 8am-noon
Tree limbs, green waste
Furniture for disposal or resale at Keep Friendswood Beautiful' s Garage Sale
Refrigerators
Wood
Metal
Plastic

Bay Area Heart Walk - November 20

The Heart Walk will take place in-person on November 20th at the Kemah Boardwalk! Each year the City of Friendswood competes against other cities in the Bay Area in fundraising to fight against heart disease and stroke.

Not able to donate? Join the team! Lace up your sneakers and attend this year’s Heart Walk, a non-competitive, family oriented 5k walk that invites everyone to come out and get walking. Blue Santa Softball Tournament and Toy Drive November 20

The Friendswood Blue Santa Shootout Softball Tournament will be held Saturday, November 20th, at Friendswood's Schulz Sportspark. If you have a team and want to play in a fun tournament benefiting Friendswood's Blue Santa program, call 281-996-3228 by Tuesday, November 16th to register with credit card payment.

Adult Coed & Men’s “D” Divisions

$25 per team ($15 umpire fee per game), and one new toy per person or $10 donation

1^st Place – Trophy, Shirts, $100 Gift Card
2^nd Place – Trophy, Shirts
3^rd Place – Shirts

Homerun Derby: $10 per participant
Rules: USA rules. Coed may play 6 guys, 4 girls.

Flapjack 5k Fun Run & Kids K - December 4

The City of Friendswood Parks & Recreation Department is hosting the annual Flapjack Fun Run 5K Fun Run/Walk and Kid's K to be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Stevenson Park. The Flapjack Fun Run is named for the delicious pancake breakfast served by Whataburger after the 5K (chip timed) race. All proceeds will be used for City park improvements.
