Tonight’s Concert in the Park
 

Join us tonight for a performance by the band “Modulation” at Stevenson Park Gazebo, 1100 S. Friendswood Dr. at 7:00 p.m., and end at approximately 9:00 p.m. Tonight’s food vendors are Chicos Hot Dogs, Kettle Korn, Chick-Fil-A (Credit Card Only), and Lemonade Bar.
 
All the concerts are free to the public. Door prizes are given out during intermission. Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, refreshments, dinner and/or a snack and sit back and enjoy an evening of fun and family entertainment sponsored by the City of Friendswood Parks & Recreation Department. Wearing masks and social distancing is encouraged.

Friendswood City Pool Opening Weekend


Opening weekend for the city pool Saturday, May 29th-May31st!

  • Pool hours are 1pm-7pm.
  • Only $2 for entry fee
  • $4 for non-residents
  • Seniors 60+ are FREE
  • May 31st-FREE ADMISSION FOR EVERYONE!
Memorial Day

Memorial Day Celebration

 

Everyone is invited to the Friendswood Memorial Day Ceremony, Monday, May 31 at 10 a.m., at the Veteran’s Memorial, next to City Hall (910 S. Friendswood Drive) from 10am-11am, guest speaker is Lieutenant Colonel USMC and NASA Astronaut, Nicole Mann.  

The Ceremony also includes patriotic music, a tribute to each branch of the military, and immediately following the Ceremony, a group photograph of Friendswood military veterans and active duty personnel.
