COVID vaccines and information

COVID vaccine appointment email notifications are available directly from the Galveston County Health District. Sign-up at www.gchd.org/notifications and select “Community Health Services” and "COVID-19 Vaccine Update" in the “News” category. Any Texas resident may sign-up.

For information, Harris County residents may go to the Harris County Public Health Department website or call 832-927-7575.

Daddy Daughter Date Night, Drive-In Edition

Participants can experience Date Night, Drive-In Edition from the comforts of their own vehicle or parking spot.

Event activities include a meal provided by Chick-fil-A, kettle corn popcorn, games, photo stations and a Car Pack to keep the fun going!
$15 for residents (per person)
$20 for non-residents (per person)
All those who are attending need to register individually.

Virtual SKYWARN Spotter training

SKYWARN weather spotters are a group of trained volunteers that watch the skies during severe weather and relay reports back to the National Weather Service.

Training is free and open to all ages. The webinar format allows you to take SKYWARN courses at home, anywhere in SE Texas.
