Library limited re-opening

Friendswood Public Library

On Monday (August 31) the Friendswood Library will reopen only two areas: the Community Room for computer, internet and Wi-Fi access and the Circulation Desk for in-person item requests.

Monday through Friday hours will be 10 a.m. to noon and 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The library is closed on Saturday and Sunday.

Beginning Monday, you can schedule an appointment for computer access by contacting the library at 281-482-7135. Appointments can also be scheduled in person in the library’s Community Room.
The library asks that you wear a mask when entering the facility.

The Drive Through Window remains open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

We continue to monitor COVID-19 in the area and are working with the City to assess the safety of reopening the facility for regular library use.
