Friendswood Police need the public’s help locating the man who robbed the Texan bank in Friendswood on December 21, 2017.  Crime Stoppers of Houston is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the arrest of the bank robber. 

Police investigators have identified the bank robber as 50-year old Charles Perry Nix of El Campo, Texas.  During the robbery, Nix was wearing a ball cap with blue stitching on the front, a faded red and white button down striped shirt with an ear bud hanging from his left hear.  He smelled of cigarettes, stale beer and body odor.  He entered the bank, approached the teller, presented a threatening demand note, and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

During the December 21 robbery, Nix fled in an old blue “beat up” passenger car.

Nix is described as 6 feet tall, approximately 190 pounds, white male, 50 years of age.  He has dark, graying, short hair, scruffy salt and pepper stubble, and wears glasses.

Currently, Nix is wanted by several law enforcement agencies, including Gonzales Police, Gonzales County, Bastrop County, El Campo Police and Fayette County.
