Date: June 23, 2017

Recently, Friendswood Mayor Kevin Holland honored Rochelle Barr for her development of and service to the Teen Court program. She approached the City about beginning the program in 2010.

Over the next six years, Barr served as the Teen Court Coordinator on a volunteer basis, working thousands of hours coordinating court sessions and more than 125 volunteers. She also was the Vice President of the Teen Court Association of Texas.

Ms. Barr’s work positively affected the lives of hundreds of teens and their families.

On behalf of the City of Friendswood, Mayor Holland thanked Ms. Barr for her life-changing work in our community, and beyond.
