NOTICE OF A SPECIAL AND REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY OF FRIENDSWOOD PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION, TO BE HELD MONDAY, DECEMBER 5, 2016, BEGINNING AT 7 PM, IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS AND THE 2nd FLOOR CONFERENCE ROOM AT CITY HALL LOCATED AT 910 S. FRIENDSWOOD DRIVE, FRIENDSWOOD, TEXAS

Joint Public Hearing (7pm in the Council Chambers)

1. Call to order

2. Receive comments from the public, both oral and written, regarding:

     a. Zone classification change from Single Family Residential (SFR) to Neighborhood Commercial (NC) at S. Friendswood Dr./Old Rd., 2.039 acres being Part of Lot 45, Slone Subdivision, out of the B.W. Camp Rice Farms in the John Dickerson League, Galveston County, Texas, according to the map recorded in Volume 254-A, Page 6, in the office of the County Clerk of Galveston County, Texas

Replat of the Amending Plat of Creekwood Estates, Lots 8 & 9, Block 4, being a 1.246 acres tract of land out of the Creekwood Estates, being originally Lot 8 & 9 in Block 4, a subdivision in Galveston County, Texas, according to the map or plat thereof recorded in G.C.D.R. No. 2011039015, of the Deed Records of Galveston County, Texas, and also being Lot Eight (8-A), in Block Four (4), of Amending Plat of Lots 8 and 9 Block No. 4 Creekwood Estates, a subdivision in Galveston County, Texas according to the map or plat thereof, recorded in Plat Record 2013A, Map Number 62, of the Plat Records of Galveston County, Texas

All meetings of the Planning & Zoning Commission are open to the public, except when there is a necessity to meet in an Executive Session (closed to the public) under the provisions of Section 551, Texas Government Code. The Planning & Zoning Commission reserves the right to convene into Executive Session to hear any of the above described agenda items that qualifies for an executive session by publicly announcing the applicable section number of the Open Meetings Act.
