NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE FRIENDSWOOD ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY, MAY 24, 2016, AT 7:00 PM AT FRIENDSWOOD CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS, 910 S. FRIENDSWOOD DRIVE, FRIENDSWOOD, TEXAS
1. Call to order
2. The Board will conduct a public hearing and consider the following requests on the property located at 802 S. Friendswood Dr., a .4426 acre tract out of the Southeast 1.2 of Lot 13, Block 3 of the Friendswood Subdivision, Friendswood, Texas, Galveston County:
To reduce the required rear yard setback from the required 15 feet to 5 feet – a variance from the Zoning Ordinance Section 7.Q.2. Regulation Matrix – Commercial Districts; and to reduce the required Landscaped Open Space Buffer Strip from 10 feet to 5 feet – a variance request from the Zoning Ordinance Section 8. I. 2. Perimeter Landscaping and Screening a. Adjacent property, buffer maintenance and installation;
and to not require the trees every 25 feet within the Landscaped Open Space Buffer Strip – a variance request from the Zoning Ordinance Section 8. I. 2. Perimeter Landscaping and Screening b. Trees for buffer strips.

The Zoning Board of Adjustment and Building and Standards Commission reserves the right to convene into Executive Session to hear any of the above described agenda items that qualifies for an executive session by publicly announcing the applicable section number of the Open Meetings Act.
