NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN OF A FRIENDSWOOD CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING TO BE HELD AT 5:00 PM ON MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 2015, AT FRIENDSWOOD CITY HALL, COUNCIL CHAMBERS, 910 S. FRIENDSWOOD DRIVE, FRIENDSWOOD, TEXAS, REGARDING THE ITEMS OF BUSINESS ACCORDING TO THE AGENDA LISTED BELOW:

15. Resolutions 
      
Consideration and possible action regarding the following:
     
A. Resolution R2015-18: A resolution of the City of Friendswood, Texas, Galveston/Harris counties, submitting a nomination(s) to the Board of Directors of the Galveston Central Appraisal District for 2016-2017. 
     
B. Resolution R2015-19: A resolution of the City Council of the City of Friendswood, Texas, Galveston/Harris Counties, nominating a candidate for a position on the Board of Directors of the Harris County Appraisal District for 2016-2017.
      
C. Resolution R2015-20: A resolution of the City Council of the City of Friendswood, Texas, authorizing and approving the 5-year review and updated City’s Hazard Mitigation Plan. 
      
D. Resolution R2015-21: A resolution of the City Council of the City of Friendswood, Texas, showing support and recognition of the Friendswood Police Department.

16. Ordinances
     
Consideration and possible action regarding the following:
     
A. Ordinance No. T2015-23: (Title: Second and Final reading of an ordinance rezoning a tract of land consisting of approximately .6402 acres, located at 810 S. Friendswood Dr., also known as Reserve A in the Final Plat of Cedarwood Estates Subdivision, Friendswood, Galveston County, Texas, (as more fully described herein), from Downtown District ("DD") to Downtown District/Specific Use Permit ("DD/SUP") for NAISC Use #713940, "Fitness and Recreational Sports Centers, limited to the specific area denoted herein") An ordinance amending Appendix "C" "Zoning", of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Friendswood, Texas, Section 3, "Provision for Official Zoning Map", rezoning the property generally located at 810 S. Friendswood Dr., a tract of land of approximately .6402 acres, also known as Reserve "A" in the final plat of Cedarwood Estates Subdivision, Friendswood, Galveston County, Texas, more fully described herein from the current designation of Downtown District ("DD") to Downtown District/Specific Use Permit ("DD/SUP"), permitting NAICS Use #713940 "Fitness and Recreational Sports Centers" limited to the specific area denoted in Exhibit "B-4", all as more specifically provided herein; providing for the amendment of the Official Zoning Map; providing a penalty in an amount not to exceed $2,000 for each day of violation of any provision hereof; and providing for severability.
      
B. Ordinance No. T2015-25: (Title: First and Final reading of an Ordinance adopting Budget Amendment XV to the Original General Budget of the City for Fiscal Year 2014-2015 to provide for supplemental appropriation and/or transfer of certain funds) An ordinance amending City of Friendswood, Texas, Ordinance No. 2014-29, passed and approved October 6, 2014, same being an ordinance approving and adopting the City’s General Budget for Fiscal Year 2014-2015 by approving "Budget Amendment XV" to the "Original General Budget of the City of Friendswood, Texas, for the Fiscal Year 2014-2015"; providing for supplemental appropriation and/or transfer of certain funds; providing for severability; and providing other matters related to the subject.

Consideration and possible action regarding the following:
     
A. Approving a banner permit application from the Friendswood Farmer’s Market to display a banner every month prior to their events
      
B. Authorizing the acceptance of public paving and utility improvements for Austin Chase Section 1, West Ranch, for the contractor’s one-year maintenance period
     
C. Authorizing the acceptance of public paving and utility improvements for Arbor Gate Section 4, West Ranch, for the contractor’s one-year maintenance period
     
D. Authorizing the acceptance of public utility improvements for the Clearwood Business Park, for the contractor’s one-year maintenance period 
      
E. Accepting the July and August 2015 Property Tax Report
     
F. Approving the Minutes of the July 13 and August 03, 2015, Council Meetings
