NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE FRIENDSWOOD ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT AND A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE BUILDING AND STANDARDS COMMISSION TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY, MAY 20, 2014 AT 7:00 PM AT FRIENDSWOOD CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS, 910 S. FRIENDSWOOD DRIVE, FRIENDSWOOD, TEXAS

REGULAR MEETING

1. Call to order

2. The Board will conduct a public hearing regarding a request seeking the following for the property located at 532 Centerfield Dr. being Lot 4, Block 3 of Northfield Estates, Friendswood, Texas, Galveston County:

    A. A variance request from Appendix C - Zoning Ordinance, Section 7.Q.2. District and Area Height Regulations – Residential Regulation Matrix, to allow an attached patio to encroach the rear 25-foot building setback by approximately 5 feet

    B. A special exception request from Appendix C – Zoning Ordinance, Section 7.Q.2. District and Area Height Regulations – Residential Regulation Matrix, to allow an attached patio to encroach the rear 25-foot building setback by approximately 5 feet

    C. An appeal from the building official’s decision to deny the plot plan

All meetings of the Zoning Board of Adjustment and Building and Standards Commission are open to the public, except when there is a necessity to meet in an Executive Session (closed to the public) under the provisions of Section 551, Texas Government Code.
